It takes so much more than great music to make a church sing. Rolling Hills Community Church is currently looking for a great multi-tasking manager to supervise and complete the maintenance and cleaning of our growing Nashville South Campus. We believe that our facilities are a tool for ministry not only for our church partners but also for our surrounding communities. The ideal Facilities Manager is detail-focused, able to handle multiple projects and events at once, and possesses a good working knowledge of building systems and operations. He or she has great interpersonal skills and is able to communicate effectively and efficiently while working with a team of both employees and volunteers.

Responsible for assisting with maintaining and overseeing the Nashville South campus and Community Center, both interior and exterior, including working with all tenants and outside rentals, to ensure a great environment for ministry and business.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee all activities impacting the facilities and property that take place inside the Nashville South building or outside on the grounds.
- Ensure buildings are clean, set up and ready for all weekly programming and outside events.
- Help install and maintain seasonal, campaign, and sermon-based decor.
- Ensure contract cleaning company and internal staff complete work to the expected high standards.
- Coordinate with vendors for services and supplies.
- Assist in developing long range maintenance schedules, including deep cleaning, equipment maintenance and replacement, and regular building upkeep (i.e., painting, floor replacement, etc.).
- Assist in overseeing normal church construction projects as necessary.
- Be an additional point person for fire protection and the overall security and safety of the facility, including maintenance of alarm equipment.
- Ensure the quality of the landscaping is kept at a high level and complies with city codes.
- Work with the Facilities Director to keep facilities in compliance with local and state codes.
- Coordinate with a security company, police, and in-house security and parking teams to ensure the safety of the facilities and all the people on the campus.
- Work with the Central Special Events Associate on building needs for outside rentals.
- Ensure cleaning coverage on weekends as needed.
- Foster a positive relationship with all church tenants.
- Be responsible for maintenance in the tenant spaces.
- Assist the Facilities Director in understanding the provisions and terms of tenant leases.
- Be responsive to tenant requests.
- Recruit, train, and empower volunteers for assistance.
- Be willing to assist at other campuses as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by direct and indirect supervisors, or senior leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma required; College degree or trade license preferred.
- Has technical training or experience in two or more disciplines, strongly preferred (i.e., HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting).
- Have knowledge of best practices for repairs, maintenance, sanitation, and building systems.
- Proficient with large and small power tools, safety equipment, and possesses basic computer skills.
- Available on an on-call basis in a crisis or emergency.
